Removals in as little as two or three sessions. Professional tattoo’s
Lasers work by producing short pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the tattoo pigment. This laser energy causes the tattoo pigment to shatter into smaller particles which are then removed by the bodies lymphatic system. Our state of the art Nd Yag Q Switched Lasers are designed to shatter the ink pigment only so there is no risk of damaging any surrounding tissue. Our lasers use two separate wavelengths of light to remove darker (black, purple, blue, brown) and lighter (red, green, yellow, orange) tattoo pigment.
Amateur tattoo’s that are black in colour have been removed by Tattoo
Removals in as little as two or three sessions. Professional tattoo’s
Whether professional or amateur – all tattoo’s respond to our laser treatment. Some pigments, especially yellow, orange and some blues are more difficult than other colours to eradicate, but even they usually respond following a prolonged course of treatments. One of our benefits that seperate us from other tattoo removal clinics is that our technology allows us to remove a full spectrum of colours whereas other clinics only have the technology to remove certain colours. Here are a few examples of the types of tattoo removal we can do:

The great news is that the vast majority of our clients who have come to the clinic tell us that laser tattoo removal is not as painful as having a tattoo put on in the first place. We use a Zimmer Cryo 6 Cooling System which generates freezing cold air to maximize your comfort. The laser can sting a little and has been described as being snapped by a thin rubber band against your skin. If you prefer, numbing cream may be applied an hour beforehand (we recommend EMLA which you can purchase from most pharmacies) and this will reduce the sensation to next to nothing.
Immediately after your laser session the area will be white and raised as your body releases a gas in response to the treatment. Although it will look like your tattoo has immediately gone, this white gas disappears from anywhere from 2 minutes to 2-4 hours. Sometimes there will be pinpoint bleeding associated with the treatment which may form a scab and should be handled gently. An antibacterial ointment and a dressing will be applied to the area if this is the first treatment. After the procedure your skin might feel slightly sunburned for a couple of days and the treated area may remain red for a few weeks. Recovery times depend on the extent of the treatment and the individual’s capacity to heal. At all times you should avoid exposing the treated area to the sun, as this may decrease the effectiveness of the laser treatment and slow down the healing process. After healing, the ink will gradually and continually fade even for a period of up to two years post treatment
